Enolsoft Video to iPad Converter is a commercial video converter. It can convert the most popular video formats into formats that play well on the iPad. The supported output formats are MPEG-4, H.264 and MOV for video and M4A, MP3, WAV and AIFF for audio.
This converter has a very nice graphical user interface. I tend to like interfaces that are simple and don't crowd the screen with unnecessary buttons or images. This converted has an interface that is to the point and incredibly easy to follow. It consists of a big space where the files on your conversion queue are listed, a toolbar at the top and the conversion settings on the right.
There are six conversion profiles, with varying resolutions and formats. There are three 720p profiles that you can use.
In my testing, I converted an MKV file (720p) into a 720p H.264 file. The process went well and the resulting file looked good. The app can also hard-code subtitles onto the video if the source file has a subtitle track.
The only bad thing that I could notice about this app is that when you try to open the video editor, an error window comes up. I tested this with two Windows 7 computers and the same error happened on both computers.
